Vision and Mission

Vision

The GMCNS will become the core for laboratory-based and clinical researches for neuroregeneration in Hong Kong and to be the core in China and eventually the global neuroregeneration sciences research.

Mission

The GMCNS aims at exploring new frontiers of knowledge on neuroregeneration sciences, including the causes of cell death and cell abnormalities, cell differentiation, cell therapy, bio-imaging and other related innovative cell technologies. Under the joint efforts of the experts, apart from publishing high-impact journal papers, it is hoped to develop novel strategies and biomaterials for early diagnosis, prevent and treatments in clinical applications for currently incurable diseases of the nervous system as well as other body systems.
